About the Opportunity

As Technical Sales Lead you will be responsible for growing company revenue within the construction industry. This is a hybrid role where you will spend a portion of your time traveling, a portion of your time in the Norcross office, and a portion of your time working from home.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Prospecting and lead generation
  • Lead qualification
  • Sales pipeline creation and management
  • Project scoping and quoting in collaboration with the application development team, both the paid development projects and commercial production

About You

  • The ideal candidate has a technical background in the construction industry, preferably possessing a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering, with at least 3 years of construction/building materials sales experience. Candidate should exhibit strong presentation and communication skills in order to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated skill in all phases of the sales cycle, including prospecting, acquiring, identifying, and qualifying customers
  • Ability to travel 30-50% of the time, including international travel to Canada (must have valid driver’s license and passport)
  • Demonstrated familiarity with technical concepts in the field of construction/building materials and the capability to learn new concepts quickly – prior sales or engineering experience with FRP rebar is ideal
  • Experience navigating web-based Sales/CRM platforms, and maintaining sales pipeline
