About the role:
As a Salesperson, you will be identifying and closing deals, identifying business needs, managing sales process with some travel.
- Identify and close sales opportunities for Verge.OS
- Carry a quota
- Works with existing channel to identify opportunities and help them close deals
- Identifies business needs and maps those to use cases for Verge-OS
- Opportunity discovery, manage sales process, use SA and other resources, develop proposals and quotes, ask for orders
- Remote with some travel required
- Enterprise or Infrastructure software sales, preferably recurring revenue based (SaaS)
- Experience in the data center, hosting, HCI or virtualization space. Knowledge of target market and familiar with industry lingo
- Has owned a number and regularly beaten quota
- Worked and been successful in early stage (<100 employees) tech companies
- Potential to grow into a leadership role
- 5+ years experience with a quota
- High energy, organized individual who likes to win
- Good listening skills
- Ability to develop relationship with business and technical staff
- Polished presentation and speaking abilities
- Generally helpful person, someone who likes to help
- Best in a consultative sales approach
