Sales Operations Manager - Wellspring - Remote, US

About the role

The Sales Ops Manager will be a critical part of the sales team and is responsible for helping sales to close deals and ensuring that sales operations run smoothly. On the execution side, you'll be working with salespeople to run hands-on product evaluations with clients and advance deals through the procurement process. On the operational side, you'll analyze and report on business trends, help scale the sales effort, and develop and institutionalize best practices to increase overall sales effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze revenue and sales activity trends to identify opportunities and/or concerns and surface actionable insights for the Corporate Sales team
  • Prepare weekly report detailing pipeline movement and trends
  • Lead hands-on pilots with clients and convert pilots into Won deals
  • Assist salespeople with the procurement process, especially securing client IT/security signoff
  • Develop best practices in Hubspot CRM & sales tools; train sales team to use effectively
  • Understand entire end-to-end sales process and make recommendations to optimize and/or propose new strategies derived from data
  • Responsible for forecasting, financial modeling, process, tooling, reporting & analysis
  • Take leadership on assessing industry best practices and tools to recommend to sales team

Requirements

  • Track record of Sales Operations experience
  • Proven record supporting a team of sales executives
  • Experience in predictive modeling and strong analytic abilities
  • Passionate and committed to operational excellence
  • Ability to adjust on the fly to new demands; a sense of urgency and prioritization
  • Team Player with a positive attitude and ready to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
