About the Role

We are growing quickly, and need an experienced Pharma marketing star with proven success in the pharma or biotech industry to drive our outbound marketing programs. The ideal candidate will be able to independently ideate, execute, and report on successful campaigns with minimal guidance. The Pharma Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the sales team within specific, targeted accounts. This role will work with the marketing and sales teams to develop tactics designed to penetrate targeted accounts as well as drive the strategy and execution of our outbound Pharma marketing program to obtain introductory meetings with target companies. This is marketing TO Pharma, not selling FOR Pharma. Position responsibilities include:

  • Research and identify target companies and individuals that fit our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive target account strategy that can be applied to multiple account-based selling programs
  • Develop account profiles and target personas
  • Maintain all contacts using the Pardot CRM
  • Drive every aspect of the Pharma outreach programs, supported by the VP of marketing and a part-time outbound marketing person, and collaborating with team members to provide resources in their area of expertise (writing, design, email, social, etc.)
  • Identify prospects attending pharma events and execute outreach program to obtain meetings
  • Identify and deploy fresh ideas and tools to aid in the execution of outbound programs
  • Set up and use Pardot automation tools to track contacts through the customer journey
  • Develop metrics and maintain reporting to measure the performance of marketing campaigns
  • Use data to identify opportunities to improve effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes
  • Inform leadership and the Revenue Team (marketing, sales, and customer success) on marketing activities being performed and results achieved

About You

  • Experience: Track record of executing successful and innovative demand generation programs
  • Multi-tasking: Developing and managing multiple marketing programs and projects simultaneously
  • Data-Driven: Must love data, organization, project management, and prioritization
  • Go-Getter: Must thrive on and keep up with our fast-paced, high-energy, entrepreneurial team
  • Interpreter: Must be able to take information and translate it to its core essence, a good writer
  • Experience in marketing to Pharma or biotech (not pharmaceutical sales). Experience in account-based marketing a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or comparable education/experience
  • Experience building, launching, and reporting on campaigns using a CRM (Pardot experience preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing automation and workflows.
  • Experience with targeting and segmentation to build prospect lists for demand gen campaigns
  • Experience leading a team or projects
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
