HR Generalist/Manager - Super Cool Company - Southeast MI, (Hybrid)

About the Opportunity

You will coordinate the HR function for an organization of 150 people. You will develop, create and update policies & procedures and support the firm's overall strategic goals. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and lead HR programs and policies as they apply to governance and compliance for employee relations, compensation, benefits, safety, EEOC, Title-IX, DEI, and performance and staffing levels,
  • Support the firm’s strategic goals towards design, planning and implementation of these programs and policies to hire and retain our best-in-class quality prospects and employees,
  • Develop and implement performance management processes,
  • Design a talent management and succession planning system,
  • Coordinate personnel record-keeping for Hire, Termination, and Payroll-related activities with the Recruiting & Operations Managers, Accounting & Payroll Manager, Account Management and other staff,
  • Develop, maintain and manage ISO-9001 policies and procedures, as they relate to HR and Immigration,
  • Manage and maintain information such as US H1B and other visa renewals, expiration tracking, extensions, sensitive employee and company documentation, attorney communication and travel history, etc., while adhering to confidentiality, data privacy and security guidelines,
  • Manage USCIS and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Compliance
  • (record-keeping, communications, proactive follow-up with USCIS, our immigration attorneys, and other third-parties) for all of our foreign national employees on a
  • US-authorized visa including the preparation of H1B Cap Cases.

About You

We’re seeking a hands-on, flexible individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment to oversee all aspects of the HR discipline. Successful candidates will have experience in policy, immigration and HR tech & process improvement.

  • Enjoy a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Agile with a positive attitude.
  • HR certification is a plus.
  • Experience at an IT Professional Services firm is a plus.
  • Ability to work in the office with possible hybrid/remote work
