Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator role will focus on marketing campaign execution as well as marketing data organization and analysis to improve NCFDD’s approach to marketing, reporting, visualizing, customer leads, conversions, and member retention. The job is based in Detroit, MI.

In the role, the Marketing Coordinator will:

  • Work collaboratively with other team members to execute NCFDD’s marketing campaigns including all email campaigns, social media and advertising
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
  • Execute brand positioning and marketing plans for each target audience with specific objectives across different channels and segments
  • Analyze program and campaign results providing regular reports and recommendations to the organization

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to execute detailed marketing plans through NCFDD’s marketing systems
  • Fluency with HubSpot CRM, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Canva, and Adobe Illustrator and social channels and other digital marketing tools
  • Results-oriented with proven ability to balance and prioritize
  • Deadline-driven and ability to communicate when more time or assistance is needed
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a high-functioning team
  • Team fit, including alignment with and / or adaptable to NCFDD’s mission

Detailed Responsibilities

I. Membership

  1. Organize membership email marketing campaigns for multiple target audiences
    • Work collaboratively with the membership team to meet growth objectives
    • Collaborate to create annual marketing campaign plans and calendars
  2. Develop and source content for Newsletters
    • Consolidate monthly happenings and events and prioritize relevant information
    • Develop, write/edit, and schedule digital newsletters and website pages

II. Academic Programs and Workshops

  1. Organize Program Launch Campaigns
    • Work collaboratively with internal program owners to meet program and organizational objectives through the development of marketing campaign plans and calendars
    • Develop, write/edit, and schedule all marketing emails

III. Social Media

    • Plan and execute social media marketing via the Company’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts
    • Develop social media analytics and provide regular reports and recommendations

IV. General

    • Attend weekly team meetings and specific product/program huddles
    • Respond and post daily to internal Facebook group, including closing checklist of tasks complete
    • Work with team members to complete cross-functional tasks on a daily basis
    • Maintain monthly Marketing Dashboard of results
    • Other duties as assigned
